Special note:  When you receive your UU World Magazines in the mail, please pull out the center-piece and bring to MUUF. Also check back-issues for us. These inserts will be given to families who visit MUUF with children by the Religious Education volunteers, so they can learn about UU principles and values.

From the UUA website…”Parents and caregivers are attracted to Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregations for the partnership we offer in raising children who will become kind, respectful, fair-minded, caring, and strong enough to stand up for what is right. Through religious education programs and the inclusion of children in worship, social justice work, and multigenerational gatherings, our communities reinforce what parents teach at home.

We nurture truth-seeking, spirituality, and progressive moral values that will continue to shape and support our children as they grow.”

These words could come from the heart of every UU congregation I’ve ever encountered and MUUF is no different. Reflecting these words in our work in the community is what is necessary to bring us out of hiding and into the sight of those who seek us. It’s a job for each and every one of us and the world will reap the rewards.
