We invite you to share an evening of great live music with us, in a relaxed setting with comfy seats! Every month from September – May, we present a Friday Evening Acoustic Music Concert starting at 7:00pm, with occasional exceptions.

Your suggested donation of $20 at the door supports Manatee UUF’s programs and principles, which include the inherent worth of every person, justice, compassion, and a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.

In Good Company

Florida-based In Good Company is a fun folky-Americana band that is guaranteed to get your toes tapping!
The combined talents of four accomplished musicians merged together as In Good Company and became even greater than the sum of their parts! In Good Company is particularly gifted with harmonies and the use of different instruments. They perform a very polished collection of original songs, well-known folk artists’ songs, and select cover songs, including some that you can sing along to!
In Good Company members include Curtis Wayne Schaper on bass and guitar, Lisa Bohn on ukulele and percussion, Ingrid Schaper on guitar and flute, and Mike Worrall on bass, guitar, and mandolin.
In Good Company has performed at many folk festivals and events around Florida for a number of years, including the Will McLean Music Festival, the Florida Folk Festival, the Lullaby of the Rivers Festival, and the Barberville Pioneer Settlement festivals. They all trade lead vocals and harmony, and swap out instruments for various songs, which makes for an interesting and entertaining performance. You can tell that they love to do what they do!
You will walk away humming these songs for days to follow.
